Personalized Plan

Once you arrive at our beauty bar and spa, the first portion of your appointment will be dedicated to consulting with your beauty esthetician regarding your desired look for your permanent eyeliner. During this time, you will be able to ask any questions you may have, go over any medical history that may be important, and get a general sense of what is to follow. This time will allow your esthetician to create a personalized procedure plan that is tailored to your needs.

All we ask is that you arrive a couple of minutes early to your appointment to allow enough time to consult with your esthetician.

Permanent Eyeliner Procedure

Once you and your esthetician have created a personalized permanent eyeliner plan, it’s time to start the procedure! Your esthetician will first clean your eye using a gentle cleanser to remove any oils and build-up on your skin to start off the process. They will then apply a numbing cream that will help reduce pain and make your treatment minimally uncomfortable.

Afterward, your technician will use the PMU tools to insert the pigmentation into your skin using tiny dots. Once the area is fully saturated, your skin will be cleaned, and your treatment will be finished!

Permanent Eyeliner Touch-up

Once your treatment area has healed, you may notice some discoloration in the pigmentation. However, there is no need to worry –this is entirely normal! To ensure your eyeliner stays for up to 2 years, we ask clients to visit us so we can provide them with a free touch-up appointment that typically occurs within 1 month of your initial treatment.

Later down the line, as your permanent eyeliner begins to fade (usually after 2 years), clients looking to maintain the darkness of their eyeliner can come back for a touch-up appointment as well!

At Lash and Brow Wow, our team of beauty professionals takes pride in the lasting results our semi-permanent makeup services provide. That said, it is essential that our clients come prepared for their permanent eyeliner appointment to get the desired results they are looking for. Make sure to read through our pre-appointment tips below!

Avoid dyeing or lifting your eyelashes at least 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment

Remove any eyelash extensions 3 days before your appointment

Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your treatment

Avoid ingesting blood thinners 24 hours before this procedure

Wear comfortable, loose clothing

Avoid our permanent eyeliner treatment if you:

Have any bleeding disorders
Are pregnant, or are nursing
Have diabetes
Are currently undergoing chemotherapy
Have psoriasis
Recently had Botox or fillers in the area
Are currently taking blood thinners
Have Epilepsy
Currently have a viral disease or infection

After Service

Once your permanent eyeliner treatment is finished, you must follow our aftercare instructions to ensure your healing process goes smoothly and you achieve your desired results.

Avoid touching, rubbing, and scratching your eyes

Do not wear makeup for at least 2 weeks before your appointment

Avoid direct sunlight as much as you can

Try not to sleep with your face on your pillowcase until your eyes have healed

Avoid any Botox and filler treatment around the area for at least a month after your treatment

Do not work out and avoid excessive sweating until your treatment area has healed

Avoid wearing contact lenses until the treatment area has completely healed

Do not pick at your scabs

Gently clean the area with a Q-tip with warm water twice a day
