Radio Frequency treatment uses a handheld laser device to deliver electric micro-pulses to the skin. Heat is generated in the treated area, stimulating blood flow and collagen and elastin production. Our RF facials utilize carbon to enhance the results further. We apply a thin layer of liquid carbon to your face and allow it to penetrate your pores and dry.   • What can I expect post-treatment?

    Your skin will immediately feel smoother and look rejuvenated. One of the most significant advantages of Radio Frequency facials is there is no downtime involved. You can go about your day right away. 

     

    Following the treatment, your skin may appear slightly red, but you can expect this to disappear within a few hours. Skintique recommends using an SPF 30+ sunscreen, reducing sun exposure, and avoiding abrasive cleansers or exfoliating products for at least a few days. It is essential to keep your face hydrated, so we suggest a high-quality moisturizing cream.


  • What are radiofrequency waves?

    In the most basic sense, radiofrequency waves are a form of radiation. It is the expression of energy released in the form of electromagnetic waves. Depending on the amount released, the energy can be considered low energy or high energy, and our RF facials only utilize low energy waves during treatment.

     

    The handheld laser device is a specific design for Radio Frequency trained beauty professionals, and it safely treats small areas of the skin. In addition, the type of radiation used in RF skin tightening (like our facials) releases a minuscule amount of energy compared to an X-ray machine.

  • How long do the results last, and how often can you do a radiofrequency facial?

Therefore, most treatment plans include multiple sessions with spacing between each facial. Typically, we recommend three RF facials spaced one month apart.
